Quotes

I know, I completely forgot to post the next day of the thirty day thing! I’ve been swamped with homework and exam prep.

So, the third day is about my favourite quote. Now, I don’t know about you, but I love looking at different quotes. I have no clue why.

Anyway, my point is that I have a lot of favourite quotes, so I’m going to make a top three list.

So there they are! Those probably aren’t really my top three, but they’re the best I could find, and….I’m rambling now. Gotta go, lots of fun geometry homework to do (I’m just kidding, it’s really not fun and it makes my brain want to explode).

Day Two

Hello!

It’s Kat, and I’m doing the second installation of the thirty-day challenge I found. Today, I have to come up with twenty facts about myself….this would be so much easier were I interesting.

1. I write on Quotev, and my username is katthemarauder. For those of you who don’t know what Quotev is, it’s a quiz/story site similar to Wattpad. I’m currently writing two Sirius Black fanfictions.
2. My favorite color is blue.
3. I absolutely adore The Beatles and Queen.
4. I’m basically a twenty-five-year-old British woman trapped in a young American girl’s body.
5. The only celebrity crush I’ve ever had is Andrew Garfield.
6. When I’m out of college I’d like to become a psychologist, probably for teenagers, and write part-time.
7. Though I’m also considering a career in journalism.
8. Star Wars is my favorite movie series of all time.
9. Han Solo is my favorite Star Wars character.
10. Paul is my favorite Beatle.
11. I think I may have 21st century Beatlemania.
12. I should really be studying for exams right now.
13. I wear glasses.
14. I’ve lived in five different states throughout my life.
15. I have a hopeless crush and it’s driving me up the freaking wall.
16. I have a little brother.
17. My favorite subject is English.
18. I’m super short but I can’t wear heels because I’m too clumsy
19. Klaine is my absolute favorite pairing from Glee.
20. Also Jim/Pam makes my life complete.

Introduction

Well, hello there.

So, you’ve managed to stumble across my blog. Let me offer my sincerest apologies. I’m not a blogger, and I’m afraid I’ll be quite the disappointment. But, if you’re still reading, let me tell you a bit about myself.

I go by Kat, and I’m a fourteen-year-old girl living in the United States with big dreams and an incorrigible tendency to procrastinate. I know, I’m pretty young, but age doesn’t interfere with dreams. Speaking of, the only goals I have in life are to attend Harvard University and write a published novel. I don’t even care if it sells, I just want to hold the book in my hand and smell the pages.

My absolute favorite book is The Picture of Dorian Gray, by Oscar Wilde, but my easy second is the Harry Potter series. That book series completely changed my life, and it’s so easy to think of them as real people; guardian angels, almost. That sounds really weird. What can I say? I’m a book nerd, through and through.

So I’m going to get started on this blog-thing with a 30-Day Blogging Challenge I found (https://sarahmandl.wordpress.com/2014/09/03/30-day-blogging-challenge/) and start out by telling you the name of my blog, which is Just A Girl Called Kat.
